Monte C. Strait, Board Member
Monte C. Strait is a volunteer in, and member of the Board Directors, of an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) organization based in Kansas City MO that raises money for small local charities throughout the state which do not have a national funding basis. The primary focus of these charities is children with medical or health needs, disadvantaged adults, and the elderly. Mr. Strait is retired from full time employment. During his professional career, he served for 35 years in the FBI in various roles, including investigator, legal advisor and instructor, midlevel management, staff attorney in the Office of Congressional Affairs, and as a senior executive in charge of a field division, and executive positions at Headquarters. Following his retirement from the FBI, has served as a consultant in the hospital security field, and he served for three years as the CEO of a small corporation, which provided off duty police officers to work security for companies that wanted security assistance. He retired from that position in 2013 in order to devote additional time to assist his parents with their late-in-life health issues. Mr. Strait has been a member of the Virginia Bar since 1980.
